Supplies for September?
Typically CPE II does not send out a supply list. We do provide students with most of the supplies they need, with a few exceptions. The parents association does collect a voluntary supply fee to insure that students and teachers have all the supplies they need over the school year. More information on this supply fee will be sent later in the summer.
- Every child should have a backpack big enough to hold our 9 X 12 purple folder.
- In addition, every Middle School student should have pens and pencils, preferable in a pencil case or other pouch.
- It would be good for all students to have a small supply of pens and pencils at home, along with a pack of markers or colored pencils.
Can you label your child's belongings?
By the end of the school year we had an excessive amount of clothing, water bottles and other personal student items in the Lost and Found. Please label all your child's belongings. Backpack, lunch bag, water bottle, sweaters, hoodies, jackets, hats, etc. You can use a Sharpie to do this. We also are making available a link to Mabel's Labels. Immunizations Must Be Up-To-Date
It is essential that all students have the mandated Immunizations. See link to 2022-23 School Year New York State Immunization Requirements for School Entrance/Attendance here and below. Call the Health Department’s Immunization Hotline at 311 for further information about available vaccination services.
PLEASE MAKE A DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT TO MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS UP-TO-DATE. Please note that Covid vaccines are encouraged but not madated.
NY State does not allow religious exemptions from mandated vaccinations. Children who do not have the appropriate immunizations or an approved DOE medical waiver will be excluded from school.
